My little brother was a very picky eater when we were growing up, all he would eat is beef flavoured two minute noodles, and peanut butter on toast. I think that it was psychological as the family was in a lot of turmoil and it was possibly the only place he could establish control. He's fine now though. If children are very picky eaters I think some time with a child therapist would often be beneficial.
