I was in high school and got hungry for a midnight snack. I decided to fry some chicken wings! Unfortunately, I was not thinking straight. I found sesame oil, thought to myself, hm it will taste cooler this way, and then after it had heated up, dumped FROZEN chicken wings into there. Oh, and I was kind of cooking in the dark, by the light of a random candle my mother had lit. Flames shot up at least a couple of feet high. I freaked out, threw water on it and just made the fire worse. Thankfully, there was a large bowl next to the stove that I just clapped on top of the pan which extinguished the fire. There are still faint scorch marks on the ceiling, but my parents never found out....
