Do You Know These Regional Pizza Styles?
Some of the best Pizza pies I have ever eaten were made in Germany by real Italians that owned a small shop near the base I was stationed at. It was served on a plate and was the size of the whole plate with incredible Italian salami. I do not remember what kind of style that it was but it does not sound like any of the ones listed above. Should have its own category for how good it was. Nice crust, crunchy with a perfect blend of chesses, fresh basil and great home made sauce. If I remember correctly it was incredible!
Then again I drank so much good German beer while stationed in Germany it could have easily been so so Pizza! :)
Slice Poll: Do You Make Pizza at Home?
You guys reminded me that I should try to make my own Pies. I have been trying so many delivery and take out stuff that I have lost site of truely creating something. I have never tryed to make a good pizza but last night I saw a show on Dominos compitition and the way the threw toghtther a pizza made me remember why I do not eat there stuff anymore. I have found a small New York style pizza guy in my hood but this guy is so old world he has no Email, no website not even menus to take home. If you find him then you find him. ( Must be wealthy) Anyway Im going to try to make a pizza better than his. Ill post the receipe if it turns out great. Thanks all!!!! :)

Thank the gods above for the genius that invented TIVO because I have not watched one commercial in two years. Needless to say I have not seen the ads for anything new at Pizza Hut. The last time I ate there I was sick for 4 days, so can you blame me for not loving their food. As for big chains in America, they can all keep trying but you just can't bring it home like the small mom and pop, brick oven pie makers. And if the only choices were Papa Johns, Domino's or Pizza Hut I would shot myself!! :)

Last bite on earth: I would have to share a cheesy pie from NY with my 3 little girls.
I am a Pepperoni lover but my girls will only eat cheese so half and half it is. But the pie has to be large enough to fill me up. I found a little pizza shop down the street and it if was not for a wrong turn I would have never know they were their. I love the way they make a New York Style Pizza and when they give us half and half it is a Large, Large pie that comes home with me. Thank God for New Yorkers bringing their recipes to vegas!
