This may sound crazy, but I made home made egg nog a few years ago and the recipe called for whipped egg whites to be folded in at the end. You can find pasturized eggs in the grocery store and use those if you are concerned about using raw eggs. It added such a light and airy texture to my otherwise heavy egg nog. It was amazing!
