Large-Scale Enticing Food Smells
I live in a town with a cereal factory. Every few days, you get a strong whiff of whatever they are making that week (a toasty cocoa smell for chocolate cereal, a sweet, corny smell for puffed corn). I've lived here long enough that I don't really notice the smell anymore, but it's very noticeable on rainy days.

Are you kidding? These are disgusting. And I'm a connoisseur of disgusting candy. One look at the ingredients list is enough to make my stomach do a backflip.
Gourmet Shares Best Cookie Recipes from 1941 to 2008
I've made the pistachio cranberry icebox cookies several times and they are delicious. They're really simple, but look and taste like you spent hours on them. Easier to make as rounds than squared off like the recipe says, though.

Not a bad size, but they ought to be softball-sized and about 3 in a bag. Reminds me of my disappointment in the "Mega" M&Ms. I was hoping for an M&M that was so big you needed to hold it with both hands, like a hamburger. They're only just slightly bigger then regular M&Ms.
