Snickers or Milky Way?
Love those Snickers, but at the moment we are working on Peese's and Butterfingers as we had no one of Trick or Treat and have two big bags of candy to give away and eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is really bad!
Cook the Book: 'The Cook's Country Cookbook'
For a pot luck I always make my Mom's potato salad, loaded with eggs, mayo and onions.
America's Heroes, Grinders, Subs, and More
This is a great article, my Dad who was born and raised in Boston always called them spuckies. Brought back good memories. Terrific!!!

Mixed Review: Lipton's Onion Dip and Simply Organic's Guacamole for Football Parties
My son, now 34, really loved the Lipton Onion soup dip with Frittos as a kid, he has moved on but when ever he comes home for a visit Mom still makes it for him, only dip he would eat as a kid. Still use it for Pot Roast. Love it! Will try making my own avocado dip this weekend for the Super bowl, but with no Patriots in the game it will not be the same!

I used one packet and 16oz of sour cream, it seemed a little more diluted then when I usually make it...(I stupidly threw the box away and left the packet in my cupboard so I didn't have the recipe) I don't know if I did something wrong...

I LOVE the lipton and sour cream, I actually had an urge for it last night and made a double batch, YUM!!!
I've never been big on guac... sorry, but it's too baby diaperish for ish (me)...
Mixed Review: Lipton's Onion Dip and Simply Organic's Guacamole for Football Parties
Have never used Lipton Onion soup as a dip mix and definitely have never used a mix for Guac - WTF is in a Guac Mix?! I'll pass on both... I love fresh, homemade Guac and I just made Carmalized Onion Dip (http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/caramelized-onion-dip-recipe.html) which was AWESOME!!! Go for the "real thing" people! :)
Mixed Review: Lipton's Onion Dip and Simply Organic's Guacamole for Football Parties
When making Lipton Onion dip, I use half sour cream and half mayo, and I add 4 or 5 roasted garlic cloves. YUM! the mayo takes away some of that viscious mouth feel, and the roasted garlic adds much to the flavor.

When in Philly Sarcone's is a must for hoagies, Tony Luke's for steaks, roast pork, broccoli rabe...everything else...I'm a hungry man far from home
Snickers or Milky Way?
Snickers, frozen or room temp. Also Hershey's Kisses w/ Almonds...... YUM!!!!!!
Snickers or Milky Way?
I prefer Snickers to Milky Way. When I was little, I loved the Three Musketeers bar, mostly because I'd confused Musketeers with Mouseketeers.
Now, I think my favorite mass-market candy bar is Almond Joy. Either that or the Chunky.
Snickers or Milky Way?
Snickers with almonds (I don't like peanuts in candy bars except for the Chunky Bar). Otherwise Milky Way. Three Musketeers is usually a bit bland for me, though the mint version is yummy.
Snickers or Milky Way?
I'm a Snickers girl over Milky Way any time.
But some of my other faves are Mounds Bars (prefer the dark chocolate, and don't always "feel like a nut") and Take 5, which are these delightful pretzels covered with peanut butter, caramel and chocolate. Salty and sweet...great "time of the month" food! (Sorry guys, TMI?)
Snickers or Milky Way?
You all got me curious and I just had my OH throw a handful of 3 Musketeers bars (leftover from Halloween, of course) into the freezer. Can't wait to taste it frozen! I wonder if Twix bars would work, too...
Snickers or Milky Way?
Around Easter they have a raspberry flavored dark chocolate 3 Musketeers that is awesome! I think it's only seasonal though.
I'm a Snickers person over Milky Way though.

My mom died when I was a kid, so church potlucks were one of the only ways I got good home cooking. My favorite thing to see at these events was a baked ziti dish. I never could get enough of that. The ladies that held these events were always happy to see my sister and I eating so much!

We have lots of favorites here and they seem to change with the seasons. In season right now is chicken pot pies, with homemade apple pies. We live in apple country, so apples are in season right now, up here in the North Country.
