Oh my god! It's a rare occasion these days, but I LOVE going to Matt's Bar in South Minneapolis to eat these!! There is no burger, anywhere, that tops them!! ANYWHERE!! You may make a great recipe, but it will never be the same as actually eating there. Someone else commented about the fried onions...it's not a Jucy Lucy without the small diced, fried onions!

You should see this guy cook these burgers and onions. It's half the fun to go in there, sit at the bar and watch him load up a grill full. He's got a fairly small grill and he will line up the whole thing with burgers. They all sell....Then the he just has a huge stack of fried onions ready to take from. I'm salivating just thinking about it! Thanks guys...now I want one! Beware of the deadly molten cheese that you will encounter if you eat these too soon!! It's so hard to wait though...I endure the pain every time!

I was too a skeptic until I read about it here on SE.

I wanted to suprise my husband with pancakes on a Saturday morning so I bought it (I was too lazy to make my own even if it's incredibly easy). The plus side was that there was little to no clean up which appealed to me the most.

We love Batter Blaster! It came out so good. Also, I loved how they snuck in an inuendo right in the name.... get it? Batter... blaster? Haha...

I LOVE the Batter Blaster, I don't care what any of you say. I use mine with the Pancake Puff-er and lay a slice of banana in middle of the ball. Drizzle with butter and top with cinnmon and sugar, my friends go nuts for them everytime I make them. This morning at 2 am with 7 empty bottles of wine and 3 neighbors and my bf, everyone started talking about firing up the Blaster and 3 minutes later the first batch was coming off the line. I know I sound like an infomercial but it's really that easy!

How wasteful! Especially considering that pancakes take 5 minutes to make from the world's cheapest ingredients.

This disturbing, coronary inducing train wreck sounds absolutely devine. I'm sure it goes against all the laws of nature, proper karma and polite ettiquette, but......I'll sure as hell give it a go!

The cheese looks great, but if the burger is bland who cares!

The Jucy Lucy is awesome, but just a side note the 5-8 Club isn't across the street it's actually down the road a couple miles. I imagine there would be only one Jucy Lucy standing if it was across the street.

With Matt's, the 5-8 and the Nook the Twin Cities is definitely the home of the Jucy Lucy though!
