After spending the winter in New Orleans and coming home this spring I quickly became concerned about the quantity of Abita here in the city....
I just have to say that Zach you are right on! I was just drinking one of my last "personally imported" Strawberry Abitas thinking OMG, where am I going to get more here in NYC!! Well thanks for your post!
Also, ill just say it has become my favorite beer and one might need to have it to appreciate it. It is unlike any other 'fruit infused' beer I have ever had. It has the taste of real, fresh strawberry and its nothing like artificial syrups or sugars that you find in the others. It is Brilliant! If you have not tried this beer, you should make a point of it! Its amazing!
