Kind of gross, and I probably shouldn't eat it, but can't resist

I"m firmly in the SPAM camp. Saw a "recipe" the other day for Spam "sushi". I printed it. I'll make it. Krazy.

This sounds FANTASTIC to me! I love the idea of putting all the yummies in the middle (AND using the sacrificed meat to MAKE the yummies for other good stuff). Sort of reminds me of J. Beard's putting cold butter in the middle of the patty, but this is BETTER. I love this, and I'll use a better bun.

Will you miss Gourmet magazine?

I did love the photos and the articles, and while I'm not for putting onion soup mix on my chuck roast and throwing it in the slow cooker, I found many of the recipes a tad convoluted and time consuming. I, too, was about to let my subscription expire.

I wish I may, I wish I might...

I'm with the tofu-why bother contingent, it's just nothing. Okra. Slimy. Here in the south, folks say, "You've just never had it cooked properly" (fried). I probably won't starve to death, because those are the only two things I really don't like, alTHOUGH, I haven't tried much offal...

For the laddies- Hottest Food Network Dude?

I also thought Tyler was hot (and FUNNY) on Food 911, and the women could hardly contain themselves. I find him a little too heavy and rather boring these days. Anthony B is just a piece of work, period. Love Alton, but don't find him sexy. Chiarello seems gay to me. LOL!! Fieri! Gak.
