Bake the Book: Ultrathin Chocolate Chunk Cookies

This is almost identical to my fave chocolate chip recipe-ultra thin chocolate chunk cookies from The Essence of Chocolate by Scharffenberger. Exact same ingredients and proportions, but Scharffenbergers bakes at 300 or 25-30 minutes and doesn't require standing for several hours. Even the placement on the cookie sheets is the same-aluminum covered, 5 per sheet, press to 3 1/2 inches.
It is the best cookie-crisp, buttery, the chocolate chunks offer pockets of chocolately goodness.
