Rip Van Winkle...upon awakening, I'd eat____

A bar of Soylent Green, obviously!

Bar that, and laughs aside, milk, cereal and fruit. And a HUGE mug of coffee!

And if coffee doesn't exist anymore, I'd just pull a Homer Simpson and run back into the time capsule!

NYC for New Year's Eve

Well, I don't think your answers were depressing, more like useful and interesting!
I think we will try and go take a look at Times Square, after all it's a long way from Italy. I'll make sure to be careful and eventually just retreat peacefully.

About eating, I'll make sure we can just dine at the hotel. We will be staying at the Marquis Marriott in Broadway, so I don't think it's going to be a problem.

The 150$ range I mentioned is more about the norm in Italy, I guess I could go upwards if the experience is worth it, but from what I gather it is ultimately not.

Some of you mentioned trying out "interesting" places, any precise suggestions? Keep in mind that Italy has wonderful cuisine but there is actually less variety than other countries.

NYC for New Year's Eve

We will be spending part of our honeymoon in NYC, including New Year's Eve.
While I have a good portion of the evenings covered with good restaurants to eat at, I would like to find something really special for that evening, since we got engaged on the same date 11 years ago.
Any suggestions? I'm looking for something quite fancy, around the 100-150$ mark per person.
I just hope I actually manage to get a table!
