Serious Cheese: A Cheesemonger Tells All on Picking Favorites

Poll: Which Candy Would You Eat On Pizza?

How about a butterfingers or toffee candy even combined with a candied nut chopped up and made into a strusel like topping and use a fruit base like Pizza Hut makes on thier buffets like fresh fruit cooked down to a jammy consistency topped with the nutty toffee strusel.

Poll: Would You Choose a Healthy Side Over Fries at McDonald's?

I don't Mc Donald fries but if they had a good fruity fresh salad or a good fresh fruit cup then yes, I cannot chew roc hard apple like they have and put in salads, give me fresh melons, grapes, and some berries and I'm happy.

Wow I so want to make those fritters I have no spherical shaped molds but I do have a silicone pumpkin mold I can make the cranberry jell in that and freeze them. Although not traditional I wonder if you could just cover the sausage balls in leftover mashed potatoes, maybe even using some very fine chopped up turkey in the mashed potatoes and then rolling in panko bread crumbs and frying. You know cause what we do with leftover mashed potatoes is make them into a patty and fry them to make a potato pancake. This way it truly is a leftover recipe

Any lime sherbet punch lovers out there?

I made my own version with homemade stevia sweetened lime sherbet, a stevia sweetened strawberry purée and seltzer water made from filtered water in my SodaStream.

What's your favorite ice-based sweet treat?

Ice tea is very refreshing I either use a liquid stevia or make a stevia and berry simple syrup for added flavor.
I tried a snow cone a few years ago in North Carolina that had a creamy base made from sweetened condensed milk and I loved it which I could recreate it, I suppose I need to get one of those kids ice grater and make one.

You favorite easy dinner

I never really feel like making a big ordeal out of dinner but I lately have discovered some easy stress free and don't need to use a oven for in the summer that's inportant. I also like to try some meals with lean protein and chicken is my go-to and I am trying to cook chicken breasts with out over cooking them. I lately will make chicken tenders on my Griddler/panini grill and just doing salt and pepper and olive oil and boiling water for pasta and making a pesto from a dry wild tree mix or frozen basil and tossing the pasta and cooked chicken in the pesto I only make a 2 serving amount and I will have dinner the next day also. Or like I did tonight I made pineapple rice just drain pineapple and measure the juice and add enough water to equal 2 cups and throw the cubed up pineapple with the juice and water in my rice cooker and meanwhile add some olive oil to a skillet add minced garlic and cut up a chicken breast into pieces and cook on medium in the pan add a bit of soy sauce and cook till the biggest price comes to temp. Put some rice in a bowl and add half the chicken and juices over the rice and stir to combine. It is so good the chicken was moist and tasty. The sweet and salty works well and it's easy and I have more left for tomorrow. So what do you make that is easy that serves 1 or 2.
