Paula Deen's Food Lover's Cruise Set for January 2010

I agree with many of the above post, however, the price that is quoted in the original post is for the "Sky Suite" for One. Thats the most expensive cabin available, I believe. So, normal people cabins probably are in the $999 range when shared with another, probably. Cheap cruise. Put Paula aside and you still have 7 days of warmth and sunshine during a normal cold and ugly time of the year in half of the country.

Cook the Book: 'Bottega Favorita' by Frank Stitt

I LOVE just simple spaghetti with tiny little homemade meatballs with gravy. They are never the same twice and always the best thing to comfort me and mine....

Paula Deen is pantsless

My first thought ... boy this will get Paula a ton of media attention, maybe her 15 mins had started to fade some.....and guess what... it was on the national evening news (amoung others I am sure)... how many viewers there? millions? All this from a self proclaimed past agoraphobic ...

Now I luvs me some PD as much as the next foodie.... I just find huge holes in the memoir and creation of her empire.... it all ads up to a great marketing tool. The other thing that I don't understand is WHY is her entire family now involved in EVERYTHING that she does on TV, her personal appearances at Food Shows, etc......

Let the Paula Luvin commence.........

Serious Heat: Speedy Creole Jambalayeah

I made this Jambalaya for Super Bowl Sunday. At first I thought how good can this be there isn't enough stuff.... boy was I wrong. It's terrific! EVERYONE loved it, just the right amount of spice from the suasage and creol seasonings. I will be making this version whenever the New Orleans state of mind comes a calling!

All Clad Pots and Pans - are they worth it?

ALL Clad is the absolute the BEST no question.

There is an all clad seconds sale twice a year. They call the pan's seconds buy I have yet to find a scratch, blimish, etc.... I bought my first set at full retail, my second set at the seconds sale at about a 75% savings over retail pricing.

They normaly send some kind of announcement about the sale or perhaps on the website there is some information.

Yep, this is a horrible one but I always make big desserts, and all my savory items are at least 6 mouthfuls so I'm going with...Junior mints...
