New Ice Cream Maker
So i received a new ice cream maker for Christmas, but have never made my own ice cream. Any good recipes? Any kind of ice cream will do, who doesn't like all kinds?!
Cheese, bread, wine
with cheese, figs, nuts, and crusty bread.
Tomatoes and Corn!
Living in Philly it is pretty hard to fall in love with BBQ because none is really authentic or as good here. When i was little, my parents took me to Nashville, and I have been in love ever since. Ribs and pulled pork are my favorite, I love getting a little messy while eating :)
In N Out! I hate being on the East Coast!
its my birthday weekend, so cookout for my birthday with the greatest burgers around!
lots of cheese, bacon and mayo. A fried egg wouldn't hurt either!
I was in college and just starting getting into cooking and food. IT was my first rare burger. It completely changed the way I thought about cooking and eating food. I actually prefer my burgers medium rare now, but I still remember every bite of that rare one!
Chicken wings and shrimp!
Puff pastry, strawberries, ricotta, whipped cream, and honey. yum!
Medium Rare, cheddar, bacon, and a fried egg, basil mayo.
Besh! Love his NOLA flavors!

Heading up the mountains with some friends for some skiing, lots of food, and the game!

I am looking for ideas of a sauce to put over a pork ravioli. I was thinking of filling the ravioli with some pulled pork, cheese, maybe some mushrooms and spices. Looking for the sauce to be quite simple since I really want to taste the filling more. Any suggestions?
I am taking a trip in a few weeks and seeing some faces that I have not seen in about a year or two. I was thinking I could make some fudge for my friends since it will be easy to transport and I could make it the night before(Plus I could also wrap it in a festive way!). I would like to make three batches, one chocolate, one peanut butter, and a third one that is a little adventurous or different. Does anyone have a tried and true creamy fudge recipe, or one a little out of the box?
I will be in D.C. for a few days in the first week of June. I am looking for good places where locals eat. It can be anything from nice dinner to street food to bunch spots. My boyfriend and I love trying new things and I am sure we will want to scope out the food scene there. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
