Where should I go for lunch on Monday? (Soho NYC)
I'll be in the SoHo area on Monday around lunch time, where should I go?
I'm not sure I buy your philosophy on the whole numbers in the name thing. Wd-50 is pretty good.
Gubbas Pizza in Fredericksburg Pa. Their Sicilian Pizza is my idea of perfect. I will happily admit to have eaten a whole one one night after dinner service....so worth it.
@lemonfair, you HAVE to eat it straight out of the jar. All I have to say that is when you start, good luck trying to stop.
out o' the jar
I meant Delmonico......stupid "L" key is sticky....

Time to Meat your maker.
Happy Thanksgiving to the Serious Eats crew, and thank you for all of the top quality info you provide us readers with everyday!
and just to clear it up, I only put hot sauce on lower quality slices, so it's not often the hot sauce comes flying out! And this sounds really geeky but it's so awesome to go on SLICE and see that your talk topic intrigued Adam enough for him to make a post about....makes an 18 year old pizza fanatic feel awesome!
cooks illustrated Drop Biscuits!
Silver Springs: Beer N' Brat mustard....my favorite!
Daniel Humm....I'd eat until the dessert trolley would be empty.
I HATE to say this....for PA....probably the Cheesesteak. I mean think about it, everywhere you go somebody has a different version of it....but Philly is the original.
BTW I discovered it through Bar Americains Online Menu.
Haha yeah I can imagine. And your very welcome Ed.
What a glorious day.
Sullivan Street Bakery, pizza bianca for everyone and bombolini's! Do I need to say anymore?
im a drink whisperer...ill order a regular soda and then whisper that i actually want a diet...
DANG! lucky....
I'm thinking it's called a "Boston" because of the famous Boston Cream Pie. You know, vanilla cake with vanilla pastry cream, and then iced with chocolate fondant stuff. So maybe that's why, but that's just my guess.
I once snuck a Pizza Hut tak-out box under my sweat-shirt, lol, the whole thing!
If the filling isn't made of shortening, it can't be called Whoopie Pie.
I'll be in the SoHo area on Monday around lunch time, where should I go?
I know some people would look down on putting condiments on pizza but I'm just curious to see what people like to add to their slice? Sometimes I cover mine in hot sauce.....
It's well known that the folks at Serious Eats love fried chicken. My question is has anybody went to Bar Americain on a Monday for dinner and had their Fried chicken, which is the plate of the day??
Yes, I ordered a Two Cheeseburger Meal at McD's but asked for no cheese, and it was just as tasty as I remember! Has anybody else recently fulfilled a fast food urge!??
Did anybody happen to see how trashed Bourdain seemed while he was at the sushi place on the newest No Reservations episode??
KWBrown hasn't favorited a post yet.
