Sunday Sound Bite: Los Dados

I have to agree that the Lamb Barbacoa is delicious. Had it as a taco, not a burrito, and it was terrific. Also, we wanted some kind of veggie side, and they brought us a delicious sauteed spinach. The tortilla chips are too greasy. For a simple dessert, I suggest ordering the sliced mango with lime and chile de arbol that is on the appetizer menu at Brunch, or side menu at Dinner. Refreshing and light.

@ JimUWS - Well, I "seriously" disagree! Adam brings a very valid and needed voice to the food community. I love his sense of humor, his writing is excellent and besides being extremely entertained, I have learned many things from his trial and error culinary road since he started his blog. He has a way to make the "scary" seem not so scary and his adventures with family, friends he had since the beginning, friends he has met since and of course, Craig, make it seem like I have known him a lifetime. He is the full package in my book and I can only say "Happy 5th Birthday Adam! Here's to many more!"

I like Kefi also (Greek food), but if you want Thai, you should think about Pam Real Thai Encore on 47th. It's the same amazing food as the 49th street Pam Real Thai, but the ambiance is much more chic.

My mom loves Blue Water Grill in Union Square. We go there whenever she comes to visit me, which is 3-4 times a year. It has a jazz room where we like to sit sometimes and other times we like to sit on the balcony that overlooks union square so we can people watch. It is reasonably priced too and I always have a very good meal there.
