Lake Ella (Tallahassee, FL) has a weekly Farmer's Market with lots of local growers. They're tough - it seems like there's a huge rainstorm every afternoon but they keep on bringing their produce to sell!
Cook the Book: 'Put 'em Up!'
Just bought a freezer 'cause the refrigerator freezer is way too small. So far I've made lots of stock in jars & ice cube trays. Soups, bean dishes...just learning how/what to freeze. I want to learn to can stuff - being a slave to electricity makes me nervous.
