Cook the Book: 'Big Bob Gibson's BBQ Book'

My Nephew makes the very best ribs ever BBQ'd. It takes him 24 hours before he grills to get them ready. He starts with a home made rub, then a home made marinade, bakes them, then grills them with more of his home made sauce.

Cook the Book: 'Bobby Flay's Burgers, Fries & Shakes'

My nephew made up a burger that he calls a Squeezal Burger. I know it is not "good" for you. It is delishous. I don't know exactly what is in it. I know I saw him grinding the beef with a pound of bacon and adding loads of spices. I know that one of his secret ingredients is morel mushrooms dried and then ground into a powder. I make the best ribs you've ever had on the grill. I start with a brown sugar rub and then marinate in a savory beer and OJ mixture. I bake them a couple of hours in a sealed bag and then toss them on the grill until slightly charred. JeansandTs@hotmail.com

Once I came home from Germany, I was out of luck for all those wonderful meals we ate over there. I decided that I just had to have an authentic jager snitzel. We looked all over the USA and could not find it. Then, I was in Niagra Falls Canada and I found an authentic German Restaurant. Now, I have a favorite place to go eat! But, it is in Canada!! Want to take a 12 hour drive and go out to dinner? I do.

Cook the Book: Martha Stewart's Hors d'Oeuvres Handbook

I moved ONE week before Christmas and still managed to have a full party for our family for Christmas. It was like hobo cooking!! I couldn't find a can opener and had to use a crazy thing the military calls a P38. I pulled it off perfectly with baked ham, baked Macaroni and cheese, Broccoli and rice casserole, Califlower and cashew salad, deviled eggs, Oyster stew, home baked bread, and hanky pankies, I made cookies and brownies and fudge and black bottom pie. No one left hungry or sad. I even managed a gift for each person.
