From A Hamburger Today

In Talk, History of the Theta Burger

I, too grew up in OKC and am now 66. Bob is correct about the Split T being the source of the Theta Burger. But, even better, was the "Cesar Salad" Burger (Cesar for short). It was the most incredible culinary delight that ever rolled down the front of your face - sometimes - literally. It was a mess to eat, but it was worth it. A blend of burger, lettuce, and their dressing made it wonderful. If anyone has figured out the actual blend of spices used on a Split T hamburger, please post it. "Johnnies" was just as good as the Split T until Johnnie sold it. Since then, it is only a shadow of it's former self (my humble opinion).
