Gourmet Style Chocolate Chip Cookies anyone?
Thanks for all the helpful responses! Will implement/experiment with the suggestions. I actually tried Alton Brown's recipe but used regular flour and not bread flour as stated. Cookies tasted good but did not have the appearance I was looking for. Will also chill the dough for at least 6 hours next time.
Making Our Own Sushi - Help!
If you are looking for a bit of spice, try making a crab filling by mixing a can of crab with with mayo, a squirt or 2 of Siracha Sauce & a bit of sesame oil and roll it with some sliced avocado.

It was a Costco dinner night!
Our 2 20-something daughters had V-Day dinner plans in San Francisco, so I braved a Sat. afternoon trip to Costco and picked up a couple of filet mignons for hubby to barbeque; some shrimp to make Baked Shrimp Scampi using Ina Garten's recipe; sauteed mushrooms & steamed broccoli and best of all, a big piece of Costco apple pie!
A very satisfying dinner at home!
