AMEN! Stay the hell out of my kitchen until dinner is served. Then, if you'd like, you can pour water. Otherwise, have a glass of wine, sit at the counter on the other side of the kitchen and chat. That's close enough.
Tamez2, cabernet sauvignon is a dry red, and is ubiquitous.
Chum? Really??? Somebody sold you bait??? Yikes. On the other hand, it is still salmon (but not great salmon). The worst thing you can do to salmon is cook it until it's "done" all the way through - it will continue to cook after it's taken off heat. Rub with a mixture of fennel seeds, coriander, cumin and brown sugar, let it sit for an hour in the fridge, then cook it fast in a bit of olive oil - a couple minutes per side, then stick the pan into a 500 degree oven for about 5 -10 minutes.
Oh, it's definitely food grade salt. :) I do like the cheesecake idea. I may try some kind of fruit gelato, as well. Or, sprinkled on top of a dark fudge. But first, I'm baking some baguettes!
