First Taste: The McRib Is Back

You'll be pleased to know that the McRib is still very much available on the Mc Donald's menus in Germany. ;-)
Gee, I don't think I had one in the last 10 years. I used to love them. Why??

Culinary Ambassadors: Street Food in England, Fish and Chips

Can't beat a nice portion of fish & chips, preferably eaten by the seaside. It tastes best on a grey, miserable day. And yes to mint in the mushy peas, just lifts the flavour that extra bit.
Oh, and no ketchup for me please. It has to be curry sauce with my chips or tartare sauce with the fish.
(*feels hungry now*)

Street Food in Germany: The Döner Kebap Sandwich

@ kingnutter You can't compare UK and German kebab shops - it's like comparing instant coffee with a proper espresso. ;-) I generally found proper kebabs in Germany to be of better quality in terms of bread, sides, sauces and meat. The UK variety should really only ever be consumed in an inebriated state - at least you won't have to remember *what* you've eaten...
There are of course exceptions to the rule. ;-)

Serious Beer: Hefeweizen from Germany

One beer you could probably add to the list is Franziskaner Kristallklar, a filtered hefeweizen.

Poll: What's Your Favorite Food Movie?

Sort of food related - La Grande Bouffe.

Disturbing, fascinating, a classic.

Snapshots from the UK: Walkers' Crazy-Flavored Crisps Competition

We tasted the whole range in our office (we're based in the UK). I have to say the onion bhaji and duck flavour are the least offensive, although I probably wouldn't choose to buy them. I found the builder's breakfast positively disgusting - "a hint of egg"? Nah, way to eggy for my liking. Yuk!
I think I'll stick with my favourite flavour - Walkers "Worcester Sauce".
