Where to eat in Kauai?

Hamura's is great food but they have not been too good keeping the place clean, just a warning though it has been awhile since I went in months ago. You might like Garden Island Barbecue for local grinds, just be sure to go NO MSG. My wife and I really like Hukilau Lanai over by Coconut Marketplace, excellent atmosphere and the food and service are sensational. Upstairs at Duke's by the Marriott is great, awesome salad bar and view toward Kalapaki Bay!! For breakfast, you will dig Eggbert's at the marketplace or Kountry Kitchen up in Kapaa. Caution in going to Ono Diner in Lihue, mixed results there though the new location is much better. Some good quick bites can be had at the Coconut Marketplace but stay away from Harley's - serious problems there. Hula Girl is enjoyed by many and TC's Grill is pretty satisfying for the usual fare. PS - Blossoming Lotus is by far much more than 'a new age experience' as previous comment mentioned. Voted Best Restaurant on Kauai by Honolulu Advertiser last year, this place is outstanding. Located in Kapaa.
