Energy Drinks: Which Ones Are the Best?
Wow - what a pretty tableaux!
This sounds very much like my husband makes it... it's such a wonderful soup for a cold day! And the basic method is great to use to thicken other soups, too.
That sounds good, though the 2.25 CUPS of heavy cream kind of freak me out!
Seriously. We went here when we were in Spain in 2001... and the place is certainly a sight, with hams hanging EVERYWHERE, swaying in the breeze.
I think there are several of these, unless I'm crazy?
Wow, that looks amazing. Guess we son't be finding them in Texas anytime soon, so I just may have to go to Vancouver!
Robyn, you rock. Thanks for linking to us! We hope people enjoy Husbear's post about what turned out to be possibly the most insane eating experience of our lives.
Hey, as a currently unemployed twentysomething, I'm up for it. Nate, you in?
Woooo! (does a little dance)
We have lots more streetfood pictures, too, which we're editing and working on as I type. Thanks for putting this up, Roboppy!
Made this for supper last night, and it was perfect. We added a touch of fresh-chopped parsley right before serving. And it was what the doctor ordered when I woke up this morning, and discovered I had the flu.
13 energy drinks... If most of them do what they are supposed to do, I'm surprised you're still on Earth.
So sad... barely any of those can be found where I am. Monster Energy in particular sounds nice. And the painful one might be good for a hoot!
mmmm...jamón...sooo good!
I studied in Spain a few years ago and my homestay mother made the best tortilla espanola and tortillas de bacalao.
Oh, and the chocolate, and by "chocolate" I mean the Spanish hot chocolate so thick you can eat it with a spoon. *drool*
Aww... this picture reminds me of when I lived in Spain last year... how i miss tortilla espanola, paella, queso de manchego, and really good sangria.... anyone here like calimochos by the way?
@klg19: That would attract some attention...I like "The Fat Duck" though. :)
@Girlie: Thanks for the awesome post! I felt full after reading it. So much...SO MUCH FOOD! Amazing. And insane, yeah. I hope to have that experience some day.
@chasgoose: Yes, you would love that. :) I have yet to enjoy bacon as part of my dessert, but I'm open to trying bacony ice cream if I ever come across it.
I had maple bacon ice cream once and it was AMAZING (the garnish was a perfectly crisp piece of bacon). That proved to me that as long as there is bacon in it, it will be delicious.
You better believe I'm in!
I'm going back to Bangkok this fall or winter. Let's get organized and invade the city to bring back the street food revolution to the States!
Hey, as a currently unemployed twentysomething, I'm up for it. Nate, you in?
I think PB is onto something... :)
Proposed study topic: INVESTIGATE THE MAGICAL KNOWLEDGE ONLY POSSESSED BY STREET VENDORS IN SOUTH EAST ASIA. Or something. A joint effort between Boots in the Oven and Nate.
