Last bite on earth: Medium-Rare Ribeye with a merlot sauce, just enough fat on the steak so it crisps up a bit over an open flame. Sear it well on the outside, but just barely med-rare.

JerseyWarren, are you kidding? In and Out's menu is 10% of what the Carls/Hardees offering are today. They have, what, 3 burgers on the menu with maybe another 2-3 not on the menu. If you don't want the stuff on your burger then don't ask for it. But what you'll get is a FRESH bun, meat ground at the store and fries just cut from a whole potato. At Carls, mind you I eat there too, will be a bun made earlier in the week, a frozen pattie and fries from a bag from a freezer. Carl's Six Dollar burger "monsters" pale in comparison. When I think In and Out, I think "just right", not excess.
