Cereal Eats: We Admit Our Cereal Habits

Skim milk. Cereal goes in bowl first. Just enough milk to wet cereal with maybe a quarter inch left in the bottom. Prevents cereal from getting soggy too fast.

I love pork bolognese on pappardelle. Pappardelle is super easy to make at home, since all you have to do is roll out the dough and cut it into thick strips. No pasta machine necessary (though it helps to get it thin enough).

You might be better off using crushed tomatoes. 10-15 minutes is an awful short time to cook whole tomatoes. Make sure whatever whole tomatoes you buy don't contain calcium chloride. Calcium chloride is in many diced tomato products. It prevents the tomato from breaking down as quickly.

Popeye's is far and away my favorite fried chicken joint. Spicy dark with a side of jalapenos ... the red beans and rice are mind-blowing and the cajun fries rock my world. God, I'm salivating now.

Of course there had to be two people who don't understand the concept of a majority. Some people think pumpkin milkshakes taste great year round. Most don't.

It's really basic economics. There's a reason you don't see octopus flavored chips everywhere in America... no one buys them. The reason chestnut plantations are having such a hard time expanding is because it's more economical to buy the small amount of chestnuts Americans eat overseas.
