The Crisper Whisperer: Beyond Guacamole - 5 Ways to Use Avocados

There are very few things I would not add avacado to! There is really almost nothing better in the world to me. Most recently, mashed some chunks of avacado on my leftover breakfast pizza from Motorino's. Mmmmh!

Anyone Interested in Starting an Underground Supper Club in NYC?

Thanks for collecting e-mail responses avideater! Anyone who is interested be sure and email avideater@gmail.com. As far as the specifics, that I think can be discussed once we have formed a group. There is the posibility of the rotating underground restaurant, which is actually fine to throw out there here because no location is being disclosed, or just dinner parties or cooking club, ect. Basically, this is a shoutout to all my fellow food nerds in the NYC. Depending on our collective interests and culinary skill level (I am sure some who responded are more eaters than cookers!) we can create the kind of group we want.

Lets not let this idea die! Email avid and we will set something up asap!

NY Home-Cooking Club interest?

I would LOVE to get into a group like this! I live in Midtown East in Manhattan, but I would jump on a train to Brooklyn for a fun group like this! Or we could all take turns hosting. Let's make this happen!

Favorite foods: Avacado, Mushrooms, Swine (in almost all forms), Pork Buns, Sushi Rolls, Indian Curry ... The only thing I truely don't like is chicken feet, but I would even try that again.

Last bite on earth: That is too depressing to even think about! Last bite, oh the things I would have tried! Maybe the tasting menu at Ko. With a carnitas taco smothered in avacado for dessert!
