My wife likes a variation on this using the following:

1 - 1 1/2 tsp Chinese dry mustard powder
1 - 1 1/2 tbs white sugar

Mix together. The color should be a pastel yellow.

Then add 2 - 3 tbs ketchup.

This is her go to for egg rolls and the like.

I have a Japanese 6" utility knife that I use daily. Easy to keep sharp and it's a good size for the detailed work.

I gotta go with the Teriyaki Tri-tip from Lucchese's in Los Angeles. It's second to none in the way the meat, sauce, cheese and veggies work together. Add lettuce and you have a Man Salad. Oh, and don't forget a side of the green olives!

I always envision some sort of chicken or pasta. Simple and easy to eat.

Simnple enough. Rye with lots of butter when it's just out of the oven!

Just started using white truffle oil at home last year. I have yet to have thr real thing, but if the oil is a glimpse of what's to come, I can't wait.

Turkey and all the great stuff(ing) that goes with it, including sauteed brussel sprouts. And of course Altons bread and butter pickles...

A little salt. A little pepper. and a spritz of basil olive oil...Yum.

Gotta be In-N-Out.
