Richman Takes Down Sparks

Sparks never adapted. They became the MacDonald's of Steakhouses, churning out volume rather than quality. At one time there were very few players. They live on their rep like Old Homestead, Smith and Wollensky, etc. What I found them particularly to be notable for is their arrogance and indifference to their clientele as Richman illustrated. At Sparks, i't's attitude first, food second. If I'm going to be treated crappy, I'd rather go to Lugar's. At least there, I'll get a good steak.

Don't believe it...............Van Brunt Street has no pedestrian traffic. Location sucked. Place didn't do business. Pizza only decent.
