Scalfin, this menu was actually meant to be for erev Rosh Hashanah, so Sunday night dinner. If you would like to have it on Monday, try doing some of the cooking after synagogue and get as much prep work done on the day before as possible.

I am enamored with Sarabeth's cookbook. It is precise as can be and its recipes are utterly delicious! Finally I have the secret to those pumpkin muffins. No Sunday brunch party is complete without them.
Chocolate, chocolate chip cookies with walnuts and a bit of sea salt. Can be disastrous if made not in the right balance but if balance is achieved so is glory! (well in the form of a cookie, which is the kind of glory I go for)/
