Anyone Else Like Pork Roll?

I love Talyor Ham and Spam. Fried until crispy with some spicy brown mustard and just enough grease on a hard roll. Tastes best when fried up in my own kitchen on a cast iron skillet.

High tea at the Ritz in Paris... Worth it?

I think Laduree's service is fine, but you do get fussed over a bit more at the fancy hotels. I have been to tea at the Ritz and it was lovely. I prefer Plaza Athenee though.

What Are the Absolute Must-Visits in Portland, Oregon?

Try Nicholas Restaurant, for excellent Lebanese food in enormous quantities at rock bottom prices. They make the pita fresh out of their tandorr/pizza style oven and it comes hot to your table with za'atar-infused olive oil. I am drooling... I have been to the one in SE Portland and NE Portland. The NE location is larger and a bit nicer, with a more extensive menu, but the food is great both places and worth the trip outside of the tourist zones. (www.nicholasrestaurant.com).

Where to eat while in Europe?

In Paris, you must go to one of Pierre Herme's pastry shops. Or better yet all three. It's worth the wait (and the price) for the macarons and for everything else.
