We have generally reduced our overall meat consumption, and what meat we do buy usually comes from the farmers market. We're blessed in the Bay Area to have so many great resources for sustainable meat though - even my local grocery store generally carries a couple cuts of local meat.

Cook the Book: 'Canal House Cooking Volume 4: Farm Markets & Gardens'
I make different rounds depending on what I'm looking for. The farmers markets near my house tend to have lower prices, but treking in to Berkeley or San Francisco Ferry Plaza on Saturdays seems to yield more varieties.
Cook the Book: 'The New Portuguese Table'
My husband's family is Norwegian, so that is something I wish there was more information about. I'd also love to find a really excellent book on Moroccan cuisine.

I lived in San Francisco for a couple of years, and Red's happened to be around the corner from my Husband's office, so we ate there every so often, and I have to say - we definitely didn't go for the burgers. The Fish & Chips were where it was at.
