Wal-Mart Accused of Knock-Off Girl Scout Cookies
So? Here in the USA we let the marketplace decide. We are a free market system. "Keebler" and "Back to Nature" both have "knock-offs" (if that's what you want to call them) and I am sure there are probably others. These flavor combos are classic and certainly not exclusive to the Girl Scouts. Many people love these cookies, but no longer wish to support the GS organization because of their sharp turn to the far PC left. If they want to compete they need to quit whining and make high quality cost effective products. Sorry if you are offended, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Mixed Review: No Pudge! Brownies
I made a pan of the raspberry flavor tonight (added plain yogurt and vanilla extract, no extras). I under baked mine slightly to give them a very fudgey texture. The first bite was good and rich, but I couldn't eat more than one small bite. You really can't tell these are fat free because they have done a great job of adding tons of sugar and deep rich cocoa to disguise that fact. They are so sickly sweet. I can't imagine anyone losing weight eating these. No fat, sure...but the first ingredient is pure cane sugar, then white flour. I got these online and could not see the ingredients list, I usually never do that, but this was an impulse buy. Unfortunately, my husband loves them. So I have 3 more boxes and almost a full pan in the fridge. For me, 28 grams of high sugar carbs are just not worth the small portion. I'd rather spend my carbs on something both luscious and healthy... like fresh juicy organic strawberries and dark chocolate. Looks like I am in the minority but I cannot recommend "No Pudge" because I think they are unhealthy. Sorry : (
Should Hot Dogs Carry Warning Labels?
I don't eat hot dogs because I think they are disgusting, but there are also some pretty scary studies about soy. Maybe all those veggie dogs and burgers need a warning label as well.

I am sure this is good, but you can't make a Kit Kat with club crackers. The crunch in the Kit Kat has a completely different texture. The only way I can think of to get a similar taste is to melt/temper some Hershey's milk chocolate chips. Chop and stir in some large pieces ice cream cone minus tiny crumbs (cake cups not sugar cones). Pour into a sprayed pan and press down with a spatula. Then I guess you can cover with a thin layer of chocolate to cover up the imperfections. I guess you could drop them on to wax paper as well.
ps
You could probably also use Oblaten wafers, but they have a slight almond flavor.
