I'm a Seattle area native.... and I'm addicted to the Bux as I call it. There is just something about holding one of their cups in my hand and sipping on a delicious peppermint white mocha. No where else makes them like the Bux does. I don't drink coffee from anywhere else.

Have to be a fresh, warm, just out of the oven chocolate chip chocolate brownie. Most and gooey on the inside with a very small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Ooooooooooh yessssssssss PLEASE!

I use an old Betty Crocker sugar cookie recipe for these holiday cookies and it's to die for!! Always a crowd pleaser! I make mine a bit thicker though... i like a cookie with some oomph to it!

This past Saturday was my 5th Annual Holiday Cookie Baking Party. We made sugar cookies cut into holiday shapes which were frosted and decorated.... peanut butter blossoms... holiday spritz cookies with the cookie press in both red and green... chocolate crinkles... peppermint candy cane cookies... AND made a delicious spiced apple cider with rum to go with the baking!! DELICIOUS!

Coffee Walking Tours in Seattle
SBC is owned by Sbux... and their coffee is not that great. If I were to do a walking tour of coffee shops in Seattle... SBC is the last place I'd choose. I want a place with local charm and character.... not a national chain that you can find in sports complexes, bookstores and movie theatres.

Wow, picking *one* chocolate dessert is hard! But I guess I'd have to go with brownies. By themselves they're fabulous and even a not so great brownie is usually pretty okay. Heat it and put some ice cream on top and it becomes even more fabulous!
