there is a little family owned grocery store called Ideal Foods that have been around since the 20's. love the old squeeky carts and the little old guy in the produce section that bags your green beans for you.. it has the old style meat counter with the best meat.. I swear there is a cow in the back the meat is so fresh. they also have an eclectic mix of the basics and stuff you cant find else where. They are my fav. absolutly

My mom used to make me a WWII-rationing- era recipie that her mom used to make. Milk -Noodle Soup. Just hot milk, egg noodles, lots of margarin and tons of pepper. dosent sound like much, but thats what i want when the whole world treats me bad, Im sick and/or tired, or when I just miss my mommer

I love Henry's market in San Diego. It's close to my house, they have great deals on local fruits and veggies, and they have $3 bottles of wine. Awesome.

I usually shop at the new Super Walmart purely because they just opened a store a mile from where I work. My favorite supermarket is Trader Joe's, but I don't go but a few times a year since 45 minutes is too long to drive to get up there. I have a feeling that I would like Whole Foods a lot too if I ever go to one, but the nearest one of those is at least an hour away.

Vons is my favorite store. They usually have the things I need on sale and they still double coupons. The fruits and vegetables are high quality which you can't get in the discount stores. The meat is fresh and there is a nice assortment.

We recently moved to West Virginia, which has stunning natural beauty and the nicest people on the planet...but the grocery stores here are terrible. Locally, my only choice is an IGA. My favorite all-time grocery store was Wegman's, which I used to be able to visit when we lived in Virginia.

Here in Texas, I love HEB. They have a great wine, health food, bakery, deli and sushi section. I can get almost anything there and the people are awesome!

I love Lunds/Byerlys, a local store. Great products that you can't find elsewhere. Plus, the stores are always very clean.
