Profiteroles
I make pie dough and freeze the rounds. Then, when I find good fruit, I can whip up a pie!
Jessica's Biscuit (ecookbooks.com) has a good selection of cookbooks and they seem to get new books faster than other sites, including amazon. They used to be retail priced but now they offer the same discounts as amazon AND they also offer free shipping if you spend more than $25.
Brown rice and cuban black beans, with sliced green cabbage on top.
I remember his cartoons from the SF Chronicle food section, eons ago! They are great.
Frisee salad, BLTs, baked beans, white bean/tomatoe/bacon soup. I can't pick one dish, I LOVE bacon.
A nice soft pungent bleu cheese with crispy apple slices!
A big juicy ribeye, cooked no more than medium rare, with good char. I also love porterhouse but it's harder to find and more expensive. Mmmm!
Sandwiches with jellied cranberry sauce and lots of mayo!
