Tipping for Carry Out?
I'm with @robmarais. I live in downtown Cincinnati, and I often get take out from local restaurants. Usually, I grab a drink at the bar, order, and maybe have another drink while I wait for my dishes, then bring it back home. I always tip the same as if I ordered and ate at the restaurant. I've found that bartenders are more willing to entertain substitutions, special requests, and I get better bar service.

Sounds like they stepped up their game for NY.
Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Counter Culture Coffee Subscription
I used to be able to drink coffee all the time. Now it's a toss up if it'll hurt my stomach or not. I've been missing it, but recently found a workaround--Vietnamese coffee jelly shots. Obscenely strong coffee, a can of sweetened condensed milk and gelatin. Mix. Chill. Enjoy.
