Tinned vs ss layer for copper cookware

Copper cookware is undeniably the best cookware to use although it is a bit more work to use and maintain. My question is... Is it better for cooking to use traditional tinned copper or use stainless lined copper...referring to cooking performance rather than looks or maintenance.
