Dumplings? I live for them! In curry sauce, chicken broth, deep fried, steamed, baked, broiled, poached, with a cream sauce or a tomato sauce....vegetarian or meat dumplings...they never get away from me!!!!

Trader Joe's makes a lovely set, and I make my own mouth-bust-up's to my own specifications...so there is always something on hand! Because...sometimes you just need that little "punch" to settle you down, and make you appreciate it all! Num-num's to the nth power!

Pooh Bear and Kanga & Roo would understand completely!

We just tried Batali's Arrabiata Sauce...it went down the drain, totally ruined the meal, way tooooooo incendiary for our tastes. We pass Eataly all week long, and are not enticed. reminds me of that atrium on west 57th street that De Laurentis opened years ago.

Is there one thing you *must* order if you see it on a menu?

I always order dessert first, 'cause you KNOWWW...the good stuff goes fast! Then I usually will do a pasta dish...tortellini in a sauce, or a lasagna, or Pasta Primavera . If Seafood, always order the swordfish, or scrod, or something with crab. Love a good omelette. And usually go mad for good Asian food.

Worst meal of your life

At a cocktail meet and greet in my honor, the hostess served me Black Clam/Cockles. I don't do Bivalves, sorry...but, because of the enormous cost to her... I slugged down 33 of the suckers.
