In Season: Rhubarb

My favorite rhubarb recipe is one my grandmother used to make. She'd call it rhubarb slop, but I couldn't eat enough of it.
It was simply rhubarb, and sugar, boiled until it fell apart. For a treat, she'd add fresh strawberries. I could eat the stuff by the spoonful.

About CeeCee

Website: http://undertexasskies.blogspot.com/

Location: Austin, TX

About: I love many things. Husband, children, cooking and gardening.
My latest love is volunteering at a CSA farm and creating new dishes with the goodies I bring home each week.

Favorite foods: It's really more a matter of what I don't like. I'll try just about anything.
If forced to choose, I'd say: vanilla bean ice cream, dark chocolate, a perfect steak, homegrown tomatoes and carrots right out of the garden.

Last bite on earth: Ribeye, medium-rare.
