Favorite foods: anything that doesn't bite back except for rutabega and my husband's aged cheese called gebna edema. I call it "stinky feet cheese"
Last bite on earth: Uni sushi with a quail egg on top.
This is an eatery that has a great history. Started out hiring ex-cons and they stayed with the restaurant almost til they died. This place did go through a bad patch when LA started the rating system. They had to close to clean up their act but they have come back and are better than ever. Go hungry. the portions are enormous and their sour dough bread is wonderful.
