Ed, I highly recommend you consider getting acupuncture for your knees to reduce inflammation and pain. My grandmother just underwent knee replacement surgery and started getting acupuncture before the surgery and is getting it now after surgery on both knees (operated and not operated) and the one that wasn't operated on is getting better, less stiff, swollen, she is hoping she might not need surgery on it. You might not be able to avoid the surgery, but it will make your recovery much faster and it will also help you deal with the stiffness and pain before the surgery. Good luck!

@mh330 - No, not really like Challah. It's more like a Brioche, but it has a distinct flavour, not sure of what, but it does not taste like bread.

This is huge in Brazil, we also get chocolate Panettone (chocolate drops instead of the fruit).

I prefer the Pandoro, like rosso99, we have that in Brazil too, but mostly during Easter for some reason!

I'll be jumping on the scale on Sunday so I have two days to redeem myself, but it still takes courage. You'll see that those two pounds will come off really easily!

I read Pioneer Woman's site and am yet to try one of her recipes, they all look so good!
