hi there...i was just wandering could the tiny pebbles that have been stained black with soot which you have mention be a replacement for coffee beans??
i ran into a stall in roasting the water chestnuts with coffee beans instead of black pebble...but i have seen other stalls which uses the pebbles as well...
is it because pebbles are cheaper than coffee or is it just a different ingredient to spice up the aroma??
