Sugar Rush: The Retro Ice Cream Man Cometh
Oh crap.
I saw the man being towed.
As much as I love realy bad puns, that just made me cringe.
Just what young people need, COMPETITIVE EATING.
Wow, I'm the worst at candy bars. 11/20. Half of which were good guesses
So. CHUNKY.
I know I shouldn't judge food by how it looks (especially cheesy stuff) but that just looks kinda gross.
I think this is all part of McDonald's evil plan to make Japanese people as fat as Americans so we don't feel as bad.
I'm such a queen, but Candystripper is probably the most appealing label I've heard in recent weeks.
30% FEWER* calories :)
I hope this place isn't as insipid as McDonald's burgers.
The early 60's Ford Pickups used the 292 cid V8 engine. It wasn't too bad on gas.
Holy awesome of awesomeness! Fetch me a Toasted Almond ASAP! No, make that two!
I loved the sound of the opening of the cold box. My fave is also the chocolate eclairs, so i hope after he gets his truck out of the pound he'll have them. Don't you think the smell of the gas was part of the charm? ;-)
When I was 3 (I'm 51 now so this was so shocking that I remember it) my great grandmother was babysitting me....bought a vanilla fudge cup from the ice cream man and then told me I could have it after my nap. When I woke up it was gone! I hope she liked it.
Actually, there's a lot more to competitive eating than gluttony. There's also greed. Check out this video of competitive eater Erik Denmark engaging in an economics debate while shoveling food into his mouth

@sireatsalot
Actually Burgertime was much more influential as a vehicle of communist propaganda (sort of like the claim about Mario, but this is real). Check it out.

I just saw this a couple of months ago and immediately shared it with everyone I knew, to mixed reactions, haha. I agree with corycm -- it's creepy and funny, but mostly wonderful, haha.
Are you serious AllenW?
Are you in turn saying that Burgertime was a influential title in regards to the eating practices of young people? There are a slew of videogames out there that related to food, the preparation and consumption of. I don't think that any of them have a strong impact on young people.
At least MLE doesn't involve car-jacking and killing everything in site.
wow I just did this on my blog a few weeks ago. I was inspired by the seinfeld episode called the candy lineup.
I did a very bad thing. I took this quiz with my 13 year old son and I got 18 out of 20 to his 11 out of 20!!! Since I push healthy snacks, he demanded to know where this knowledge came from...I told him I studied for it.
Think he bought it? Yeah, me neither.
