New site dedicated to asparagus needs your help

@Tessofduber Thank you, but it's really quite alright. I understand that there are some people who simple take things out of context. But, yes, all I am doing is seeking a little helpful advice on how to make the site more enjoyable for foodies. And thanks for the suggestion on the color scheme.

@bleu I was in no way "contradicting" anyone, merely asking a follow-up to their questions. I wasn't abrasive nor confrontational in my approach to those commenters and I can assure you that I am not simply looking for clicks. I am trying to develop a site for asparagus lovers to go to for information of all kinds. If you would see the site, I'm sure you would see that it took quite a bit of time and energy and isn't merely some link bait or other kind of scam site. If I was, there is no way I would have put this much effort into the design and content, but you would have no way of knowing without actually looking for yourself.

@wilma I understand, but much like the radio listener and the "long time, first time" scenario, that is the situation I am in. Not simply looking to send empty visits my way. Besides, where what better place for someone go for advice on what to include on a food website than a foodie site? :-)

No, I'm not getting paid by anyone (literally).

You're more than welcome to your beliefs and views on why you do or don't do the things you do. All I'm saying is that just because something is possible, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will happen, plain and simple.

As far as your website suggestion, I'll take it into consideration. I'm not sure you noticed, but the majority of the facts are already linked to credible sources (WebMD, Tufts University, U of Chicago, U of Maryland). I'm not sure what would make for more meaningful references.

I'd say that's kind of cutting off your nose to spite your face, isn't it? Just because it can be grown here, doesn't mean that it necessarily will, so why deprive yourself of it? Now, if you were to say that Peru was run by a communist dictator or that the country engaged in harboring war criminals, that would be one thing, but it seems like you're protesting is only adversely affecting yourself to be honest.
