Sounds like a CSS bug. I haven't had success replicating this bug yet. I assume you only started seeing this after you updated Firefox? Are you also on a Windows PC? If so, which version of Windows? Thanks!

Best Indian in NY?

@simon: What restaurants do you like in Jackson Heights?

I'd definitely recommend Tabla -- the chef, Floyd Cardoz, is from Goa,
and the cuisine is "New Indian."

On Curry Hill, I like Saravanaas / Saravana Bhavan. It's a south
Indian international chain, so lots of dosas and thali on the menu. I
haven't been recently, but in the past I've also had some decent meals
at Tiffin Wallah, also south Indian. And last not least, Dhaba (which
means "truck stop") is pretty good and serves Punjabi cuisine.

Sick of Website Promoters, Shills and Trolls!

I know Adam will chime in here shortly (he's out and about doing some pizza research today!) but we certainly agree.

There are a lot of new folks here, and the proper way to participate might not be immediately obvious. It's probably time for a refresher course on how to be a good Serious Eats community member. Obviously that includes don'ts like no self-promotion/linking, shilling, spamming, and trolling, etc. But I'd love to hear -- what do's would you put on this list? For starters, I'd say

...Do be respectful of your fellow community members
...Do welcome new folks into the fold
...Do ask questions
