Gadgets: The Aebelskiver Pan
My Mom had one of these pans, and used to make us aebleskivers every so often when we were little. She always filled them with applesauce. So yummy!
I've since inherited the pan and made a couple batches. They're a lot of fun to make, and easier than they seem. I never thought about different fillings, I'll have to try some of the suggestions!
The Nasty Bits: Tongue Tied
When I was little, my Mom often made tongue sandwiches for us for lunch. I'm not sure how she prepared the tongue, probably braised, but the sandwich was just sliced tongue on her homemade whole wheat bread with mustard. I used to love them!
Egg in Toast: What Do You Call It?
Weird, I've always heard it "egg in a blanket" and I haven't seen that on the list yet at all.

I still miss the Paramount Pizza Palace in Indianapolis. It was such an event to go there when I was little. I'm glad to know there are still some in existence!
