Try to find zander, a pike-like fish. Very good, mild but meaty. Although it is just past the season I want to mention ramps- I encountered them on several menus, in many dishes- what a memorable food. At one restaurant in Munich I had ramps spaetzle- now that is something I can't get here!

I love turkey burgers, and my secret to making them tasty is...loads of carmelized onions. Lots of salt and pepper, some worchestershire sauce, some mustard, and heaps of carmelized onions. Mmm.
