This week, our culinary director Daniel tried out a new look and some new burger topping recipes. Kenji traveled to Thailand for some of the most memorable meals of his trip thus far, and the rest of us made do with doughnuts.
This week, Kenji met elephants (and delicious food) in Thailand, Daniel worked from sunny Florida, and the rest of the crew took a lobster roll break.
Our week was filled with many, many Pop-Tarts, plus some old-school pesto making and a garden break.
Serious Eats World Headquarters are in Manhattan's Little Italy, but this week our editorial crew headed over the bridge to our new recipe testing facility...also known as Associate Editor Niki's awesome backyard. With a grill and a smoker, we spent a happy day testing fish recipes (and drinking beer) in the sun.
This week, we made castles out of books, tested our emergency preparedness kit, and learned some martial arts moves. (Yes, there are some shots of Toby the dog, too.)
This week, we made frozen yogurt, dipped everything in chocolate, and had a pizza party. Kenji, Hambone, and Yuba have officially gone off the grid for awhile, but we have someone to introduce you to: Toby, Vicky's grumpy-yet-lovable Shih Tzu.
This week we made—and ate—a lot of ice cream and punished our nostrils with a bunch of stinky cheese. Kenji and his pups continued their journey west.
This week's slideshow offers some cat appearances and Kenji's report from a road-trip across the country, your favorite dogs (and extra dogs!) included.
This week we said good-bye to Robyn and Kenji, ate too much hot pot and Korean barbecue, watched Hambone and Yuba do little else besides sleep, and more.
This week we said good-bye to a few interns (sniffle), taste tested hot dogs and Caesar salad dressing, ate awesome pasta and cake, and more. And do not fear: dog and cat photos lie ahead.
This week we received a stack of steaks, made puff pastry waffles, taste tested pasta saucing methods, burned our mouths while eating hot pizza, and more. (Yes, we have dog and cat photos.)
This week we received a special cereal delivery, experimented with stuffed French toast and pull-apart bread recipes, made pizza waffles, and more.
This week we went on a pizza tour, made nachos, tasted mustard, and more. But you'll mostly be interested in our photos of dogs, cats, and cute baby farm animals.
This week we made fresh pasta and scrambled eggs in the office, tried Adam Kuban's new pop-up pizzeria, witnessed a beautiful friendship blossom between Kenji and Dennis, and more. (No dog photos this week, but we've got cat AND baby photos, so take that!)
This week we ate frozen custard, waited too long to take out the garbage, made a gajillion deviled eggs, and more. (Plus some cat action! But no dog action.)
This week we made a butter-laden tower of French toast, tasted frozen veggie burgers, grilled skirt steaks, and more.
This week we celebrated a birthday with homemade waffles and ice cream, met a Serious Eats fan, fried chicken nubs, made Fruity Pebbles-flavored ice cream, and more. (We've also got a few photos of cats, but no dogs, I'm afraid. You can blame Kenji.)
This week at Serious Eats, we welcomed Culinary Director Daniel Gritzer to the team, ate a lot of fried chicken, stuffed ourselves with doughnuts, waffled macaroni and cheese (yes, it is perfection), and more! And, of course, cats 'n' dogs.
This week, we ate all the flavors of Cheez-Its, made macaroni and, erm, Cheez-Its, and got our very own delivery of pizza from Eater. Plus, obviously, DOGZ.
This week HAMBONE AND YUBA WERE IN THE HOUSE! We also waffled frozen White Castle sliders, visited the Ben & Jerry's facility in Vermont, ate pizza, and more.
