I've been on such a scallion pancake kick lately. I love that they're so cheap in Chinatown $1.50-$3, as opposed to Jersey City where they'll run upwards of $4. Yes, I watch my spending :)
NYC SE'ers, which place makes 'em best in your opinion? Are they greasy (cuz that's okay to a degree!), light, bursting with scallion flavor, or not so? Do they serve an alternative with beef? This inquiring mind wants to know.
